2. Hosting and provision of the website

Our website is provided via Firebase Hosting (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you visit the website, your browser automatically transmits information to the server, which is processed in server log files. This data includes, among other things:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referrer URL

Processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the stable technical provision and security of the website. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, standard contractual clauses are in place.

3. Contact form and configurator

You can send us enquiries via the contact form and the configurator. The following data is processed:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Details of your car and the requested configuration
• Content of the message

Processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient handling). The data is stored in our customer database (Google Cloud Firestore, data centre in Frankfurt am Main) and used exclusively to handle your enquiry. It is not passed on without your consent.

4. Sending emails

We send confirmations, replies to enquiries and newsletters via the service provider Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) on the basis of a data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses. Email address, name and message content as well as technical delivery information (delivery, opens, clicks) are processed. Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes and no statutory retention periods apply.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send it (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Subscription uses the double opt-in procedure: you receive an email with a confirmation link. Subscription, confirmation and unsubscription are logged. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to info@about-luxus.com.

6. Visitor statistics and cookies

Our own statistics (without cookies): We record page views anonymously and without cookies or storage in your browser. We process the page visited, referrer, device type, browser, language and a daily changing, non-traceable hash value. It is not possible to identify individuals. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (interest in improving our services).

Google Analytics (only with consent): If you give your consent via our notice, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). Google Analytics uses cookies and processes shortened IP addresses and usage data; the data may be transferred to the USA (certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Beyond that, only technically necessary storage (e.g. your cookie choice and language preference) is used.

6a. Embedded content

We do not embed content from third-party platforms (e.g. YouTube, Google Maps, Instagram). Links to external services (e.g. Google Maps, WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn) are only accessed when you click them.

7. Disclosure of data

Personal data is only disclosed if:

• this is necessary for the performance of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR)
• we are legally obliged to do so (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR)
• you have given your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR)

8. Data security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, destruction, access, alteration and dissemination. The website uses SSL/TLS encryption.

9. Rights of data subjects

As a user, you have the following rights:

• Access to stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
